Before you surrender your GUNS!

BEFORE YOU SURRENDER YOUR GUNS TO THE POLICE OR TO THE MILITARY AS THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT UNDER MUHAMMAD BUHARI IS DEM'ANDING NIGERIANS CAREFULLY CONSIDER THIS A LITTLE GUN HISTORY In 1929, the Soviet Union established gun control. From 1929 to 1953, about 20 million dissidents, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated. In 1911, Turkey established gun control. Success has everything you can think of.

Successful people have two things on their lips, "smile and silence". Smile can solve a problem,  Silence can avoid problems. Sugar and salt may be mixed together but ants reject the salt and carry away only the sugar. Select the right people in life and make your life better and sweeter. If you fail to achieve your dreams, change your ways not your God. Remember, trees change their leaves and not their roots. You will never reach your destination if you stop and throw stones at every dog that barks. Haters will see you walking on water and say its because you can't swim. Even if you dance on water, your enemies will accuse you of raising dust. Make it your ambition to live a quiet life, to mind your own business and to work with your own hands. Remember, don’t ever wrestle with a pig. You’ll both get dirty, but the pig will enjoy it. -- Be Inspired and have a great day . Be kind and share . God is walking from door to door depositing success and good health. He has jus

WHY CRUCIFIXES AND IMAGES ARE COVERED DURING THE FINAL WEEK OF LENT

WHY CRUCIFIXES AND IMAGES ARE COVERED DURING THE FINAL WEEK OF LENT Have you seen it? Did you notice something odd in your parish today? ALL the statues and images including the crucifix (usually) stationed close to the altar have all been veiled with purple materials! It seems strange that during the most sacred time of theliturgical year we cover everything that is beautiful in our parishes, even the crucifix. Shouldn’t we be looking at the painful scene at Calvary while we listen to the Passion narrative on Palm Sunday? While it may appear counterintuitive to veil statues and images during the final weeks of Lent, the Church recommends this practice to heighten our senses and build within us a longing for Easter Sunday. It is a tradition that should not only be carried out in our local parish, but can also be a fruitful activity for the “domestic church” to practice. The rubrics can guide us. In the Roman Missal we find the instruction, “The practice of covering crosses and images

Professor Stephen Hawking Dies @76

Professor Stephen Hawking poses for photographers upon arrival for the Interstellar Live show at the Royal Albert Hall in central London. File picture: Joel Ryan/Invision/AP London - Stephen Hawking, who sought to explain some of the most complicated questions of life while himself working under the shadow of a likely premature death, has died at 76. The UK's Press Association reported his death, citing a spokesman for the family. Hawking's formidable mind probed the very limits of human understanding both in the vastness of space and in the bizarre sub-molecular world of quantum theory, which he said could predict what happens at the beginning and end of time. His work ranged from the origins of the universe itself, through the tantalising prospect of time travel to the mysteries of space's all-consuming black holes. But the power of his intellect contrasted cruelly with the weakness of his body, ravaged by the wasting motor neurone disease he contracted

You Are Practically What You Think.

PST GRACEFIELD MAXCOT (GMAX) YOU ARE PRACTICALLY WHAT YOU THINK. DEAREST, I THINK GOD WANTS YOU TO UNDERSTAND THIS!!!!! Your mind is very powerful. Yet, if you're like most people, you probably spend very little time reflecting on the way you think. After all, who thinks about thinking ? But, the way you think about yourself turns into your reality. If you draw inaccurate conclusions about who you are and what you’re capable of doing, you’ll limit your potential. THE LINK BETWEEN THOUGHS,FEELINGS AND BEHAVIOR- Your thoughts are a catalyst for self- perpetuating cycles. What you think directly influences how you feel and how you behave. So if you think you’re a failure, you’ll feel like a failure. Then, you’ll act like a failure, which reinforces your belief that you must be a failure. I see this happen all the time in my therapy office. Someone will come in saying, “I’m just not good enough to advance in my career.” That assumption leads her to feel disco
